Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American producer stage and screen actress who is best well-known for her films on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She graduated with an B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a producer as well as an American actor active in the theatre as well as television and film. She began her career as an actress in theatre but then proceeded to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance on BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. She started her career as an actress in 1995 as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Her stage credits include Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. In her film career, she is renowned for her performances in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her most well-known role is her character on ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
