Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at age five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Her graduation was in 1975. Winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone and her aunt relocated out of New Jersey to New Jersey in order to pursue a career as a model in 1977. They signed up for an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. Then, she relocated to Europe and spent the entire year in Milan as well as Paris. However, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene in Europe she decided to pursue acting while in the country. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film received mixed reviews.
